Hanguker Account and Data Deletion
Use this page to request deletion of your Hanguker account and the app data associated with it. You can submit a request even if Hanguker is no longer installed.
Requests are reviewed manually. The current target is to complete an eligible deletion request within 7 days after the account can be verified.
How To Request Deletion
- Email itree@itree.pe.kr, preferably from the email address used for your Hanguker account.
- Use the subject [Hanguker] Account deletion request.
- Include the email address used for the Hanguker account if you are writing from a different address.
Do not send your password, raw audio, government ID, or sensitive practice content. Hanguker may ask for limited additional information only when it is necessary to verify account ownership.
What Will Be Deleted
After an eligible request is verified, Hanguker will delete the account and account-associated data held by Hanguker, including:
- the Firebase Authentication account and account identifier,
- account settings and topic-usage records,
- generated or saved practice phrases and review history,
- practice summaries and any practice-attempt records if present,
- account-associated usage events and quota records, including public measurement classification and activity records.
Raw audio and recognized speech transcripts are not stored by Hanguker by default.
Device-Local Data
Some recent topics, settings, or review data may be stored only on your device. If Hanguker is still installed, you can remove device-local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Limited Retention
Deletion request correspondence and the minimum verification record may be kept for up to 30 days after the request is completed, then deleted. Data may be retained longer only when reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer be associated with the account may be retained.
The routine operational retention periods in the Privacy Policy do not delay deletion of account-associated data after an eligible request is verified. Scheduled deletion of expired operational records is asynchronous and may take additional processing time.
Before You Request
Account deletion is intended to be permanent. Saved review phrases and other account data cannot be restored after deletion is completed.
